Hi,
I can’t describe complete in english, because I’m missing some words, so hopefully german will do:

As translated by deepl.com :
I’m really excited about the VP3 correction capabilities, but one aspect of the integration in PL4 that I unfortunately miss (even with PL2) is the magnifying glass when you set the reference points. In VP3 those are extremely helpful, but there you don’t have access to the RAW files and it breaks the workflow, which is actually good with the integration in PL4.
Love and happy holidays

Many thanks; simple idea
These reference points would also be helpful for the horizon tool

This request gathered votes quickly! It’s also contained to some extent in the following requests and topics: (popular indeed)

Bonjour & Hello,
En utilisant Perspective Efex, je découvre la loupe de l’outil perspective. Cela aide vraiment à placer les points.
Cette loupe pourrait-elle être incorporée dans l’outil perspective de PhotoLab?
While using Perspective Efex, I discover the magnifying glass of the perspective tool. I find it very useful and missing in PhotoLab.
Could this loop be included in PhotoLab? It really helps to position the points.
Thank you !
Via another Viewpoint topic (Can’t see magnifiers in VP within PL3 it has become apparent to me that the Mac combination of PhotoLab & Viewpoint 3 offer features not found with the equivalent Windows products. Specifically this concerns the ability, within all four of the perspective correction tools (Horizon, Force Parallel, Rectangle and 8 Points) to draw the correction lines. With the Mac software this feature exists. With the Windows software this only exists for the Horizon and Rectangle co…
I don’t know if I’m missing something, but when I try to position the eight-point lines when using ViewPoint as part of my normal raw processing in PL3 Elite the ‘circles’ used to drag the lines don’t act as magnifiers to facilitate accurate placement. However, they do precisely that if I open VP as a standalone program and then open a file. However, the latter procedure is a bit of a pain since it entails navigating through files to open the raw file.
Arising from a discussion on a related topic Can’t see magnifiers in VP within PL3 : I’d like to have the ability to “draw” the lines in all of the ViewPoint3 (VP3) correction controls - Horizon, Force Parallel, Rectangle and 8 Points - when using VP3 within PhotoLab. I understand this is how the Mac version of PhotoLab3 / VP3 behaves, whereas on the Windows version I only seem to be able to draw the correction lines in two of the four controls - Horizon and Rectangle.
As a frequent user of the …
I have now bought ViewPoint 3, having for the past few days been trying it out within PL 3. I now have VP 3 as a palette within PL 3; as a plugin for PS Elements, and as a standalone program. Is there any way to display the magnifying “handles” when using it within PhotoLab? I am only seeing these when using it standalone. (I haven’t got my photo editing laptop running at present, so can’t remember what I saw in VP 3 used within PSE, which I don’t generally use for the “heavy lifting”).
