Hi Joanna,
This is what the watermark tool should have been in my opinion. Once demosaicking and denoising is done, the rest is pixel editing territory. True, adding text can be done using an external editor application.
DxO’ Photolab’s cousin, Snapseed, handles RAW files demosaicking and text overlays over multiple lines.
I found similar requests in the forum:
Hi,
It lacks the ability to specify an angle for rotation for the watermark text.
Rotating by 90 ° increments is not enough.
Yes, often on the web to avoid copying, we have to cover the photo with a watermark on the entire diagonal.
Regards.
I currently use an automated ImageMagick script to add two watermarks to my images. It only took me a couple of minutes to recreate each one of them in PL4, but can I add both to one image? Ideally I’d like both on a single preset, but if necessary a more roundabout way would still be useful.
The watermark feature is brilliant but is missing the ability to drag the watermark to any desired position.
It would also be useful to be able to scale the watermark by dragging a corner rather than using a slider.
It would be useful to be able to add two pieces of text to different corners of the image. My current watermarking scheme is done with ImageMagick and places some Creative Commons symbols at bottom left and my logotype at bottom right.
Any time multiple pieces of information are wanted it would be useful to be able to have them separate.
