Let me add some detail for my use cases…
For one brand, I have two items of text in the lower right corner - different font faces, sizes, etc, but always the same text.
For another brand I have two text items - one in each lower corner. On one side it is always the same text and the text is multi-line (2 lines). For the other side it also requires multi-line text - sometimes four or five lines (these are credits for the people creating the image - one line per person). In this latter scenario, different images contain different people and so require different credits. Rather than re-typing the text content each time, I need a way for the system to remember each setup.
To flesh that last part out in a bit more detail, my workflow might be:
- export one image with two lines of text: photographer = me; model = person A
- export next image with two lines of text: photographer = me; model = person B
- export next image with three lines of text: photographer = me; model = person A; model = person B
As I continue to work through the photo shoot, I will need to draw on any one of the above three options for any given photo I want to export (and indeed, often far more than 3 options, as makeup artists get credited, fashion stylists, hair stylists, etc)
Ideally I would store the above “set” of 3 watermarks under a single heading, such as “XYZ shoot on date ABC”.
When I do my next photo shoot I will need another set of watermarks, depending on the creatives that have contributed to the shoot - and to store that next set in its own “folder” or container.
In future I can go back and review any prior shoot and I have quick easy access to the relevant watermarks I set up for that shoot.
All my workflow deals with text watermarks, but whatever the solution, it would be best if it also supported image watermarks for those who need it.
