when organising by, for example year (a windows folder per year), it would be useful to be ble to search within this only. (and not only accross all photos that PhotoLab knows about irrespective of location)
Say i want to search for skiing, I only want to see skiing in that abc2022 folder.
If I have several folders and I want to compare, I could then open one in widows explorer (say “best xyz holiday pic shared”) and the other main raw folders containing subfolders per year in the PhotoLab PhotoLibrary. This would make comparison or culling easier.
If I search within Photolab, I would get, say “mallorca” for all years . Even if filtered for the right year, I would still see both the pics from the main raw+jpg folder (on a dedicated drive) AND the folder i make for best/sharing pics. (which I keep in the pictures folder on OneDrive enabling me to share easily with the family and others)
I am sure there are other examples, where it woudl be very useful to limit where PhotoLab searches when "search for Images"is used.
I hope the above makes some sense.
Many thanks!
