I have bought the new Nik Collection and installed it. Afterwards in Photoshop I can’t open the old Silver Efex Pro 2 edits which are smart objects anymore (see attached picture).
Is there a way to still open the old edit?

Now all the parameters for Silver Efex Pro 2 and Viveza 2 stored in another format and it is not auto-conversion for the smart objects.
I do not know how many smart objects for Silver Efex 2 you have and probably the suggestion could be not perfect, but at least you can consider it:
- You need Silver EFex Pro 2 to be able to open this smart object again
- Then save parameters as a preset for all such smart oblects
- Than install Nik 4 and you will be able to see these presets converted to a new format and reapply in Photoshop to these images
