Message "This preset cannot be applied on your selected image(s)"

My problem…
In PhotoLab 8.5.0, when I select “Apply presets”, I get the message “This preset cannot be applied on your selected image(s)” in all of the Fuji preset sample windows.
I’m sure I’ve been able to apply Fuji presets before.
I’m using FilmPack 7.
All other presets seem to work okay.
Can anyone explain why I might be having this problem?
Thanks
Andrew

See this recent topic:

which amongst the discussion cites this from DxO:

In summary, it’s a copyright thing.

Many thanks for the info.
I tried various searches but couldn’t find anything.
I really appreciate your help.
Cheers
Andrew

I’d like to reply with just, “Happy to help” but a post must be at least 20 chars so I have to be verbose

Ha ha many thanks. I’ll try to expand my reply .
To be honest DxO would save a lot of people’s time by providing an understandable statement like “due to copyright issues this preset has been disabled”.
Thanks again for the help.
Much appreciated.

This is preposterous, I bought a license and DxO is not letting me use it.
That was one of the reasons I bought FilmPack, I’m rolling back to the previous version and who knows if I’ll even upgrade after this.

DxO just keeps kicking itself.

See this, from DxO:

and this topic for a discussion about it:

In summary it’s a copyright thing

PS is it me or is there an echo in here?

So - you’ve crippled software THAT I HAVE PAID FOR! Where do I get my money back?

I’m sorry but this is a user forum. We have done and can do nothing. You really need to write to DxO directly.

To add to the discussion, I just upgraded to PL8 but still have Filmpack 6.
I notice the same issue - a “supposed” copyright - and the presets when applying in PL8 are greyed out. HOWEVER, when I open Filmpack 6 directly, I can still use the typical Fuji film simulations.
I am just wondering, if it is a copyright issue, why is it still legally available here?

From FP7 on they are only available with the corresponding Fuji cameras / images.

Apparently, this restriction was the result of direct representation to DxO by Fuji
(That is, Fuji “requested” that DxO cease and desist emulating their film renderings).
