In PL8 provide a way to navigate in sync for images from the same source

When comparing side by side images coming from the same source, provide a switch which will cause magnification and navigation to be in sync for both images.

@Wlodek Have you tried holding down the ‘Shift’ key while moving the image or while scrolling to increase/decrease the size of the image? It sort of works but they can get out of step with one another which I consider a bug i.e. it looks like it should work, it starts out working and then the two images get out of step??

I don’t know how or if you can align the two copies exactly for position and/or size except that double clicking on each image seems to offer something to get them both to the same starting size, I think?

Yes, thanks !

On Windows “Shift” works if you want them to move synchronously,
but only at 100% / 1:1

.

Otherwise … in Split View one can use any zoom level (manually or predefined).

@Wolfgang If they can do it in Split View then they should be able to do it in Side by Side view!

It looks as if the calculation for the left hand window, in particular, in my case, rapidly gets out of sync when resizing the images. I can see no logical reason why that would be considered a desirable feature. i.e. I believe it is a fault that could be rectified and the sooner the better.

Submit a support report for the bug and see what DxO has got to say about it.
