How do I copy-paste perspective corrections?

DxO PhotoLab Elite 8.20.0 build 70, Mac OS

When copy/pasteing “selected correcions”, Perspective is not available as an individual checkbox.

How do I paste them without pasting other corrections?

The problem is that I do not have the “perspective” checkbox, otherwise I would not have asked the question.

Perspective is so strong related to a specific image. Why would some copy that to another image???

George

Because the two photos I am working with are almost identical (they were shot in burst mode) therefore the perspective correction of one almost 100% applies to the second one.

strange, maybe it depends on the MAC-Version, on my win 11 Version it is there:

I did an AI search on this and also found the following link to a related query here. The results seem to suggest that even though the basic perspective tools have been available in PhotoLab without a Viewpoint license since PhotoLab 6 Elite, the perspective check box in the Geometry section of the Paste Selected Corrections dialog may still require an active Viewpoint license. Since I have an active Viewpoint license I am unable to test whether that is the actual cause on my Windows 10 machine for PL 9 or PL 10 and I no longer have PL 8 installed. Additionally, @marcelloromani seems to be using the Mac version of PL 8 so I suppose this could be a Mac version issue.

AI Overview

In DxO PhotoLab 8 Elite, the missing “Perspective” checkbox in the Paste Selected Corrections dialog is a known interface limitation related to your product licensing. [1, 2]

The checkbox for perspective correction is tied to having an active DxO ViewPoint license. Even though the standalone Elite edition of PhotoLab allows you to apply basic automatic perspective corrections directly inside the standard panel, the specific toggle to selectively exclude or include Perspective adjustments during a partial copy-paste command is hidden unless DxO ViewPoint is activated. [1, 2]

Because of this bug/glitch in the dialog box, when you attempt to selectively paste geometry corrections, the software defaults to pasting the perspective adjustment from your source image without giving you a way to uncheck it. [1]

thanks, I have also a ViewPoint license.

Is this a new problem for you? At an earlier point was the perspective checkbox available or has it never been available? What version of Viewpoint do you have?

Mark

No it’s no problem for me, but explains, why I have the checkbox (see my post, a few seconds before yours)

You are replying to the wrong person. I do not have the ‘pespective’ checkbox, but wilsberg does. I do not have a Viewpoint license.

It seems to be an option that is enabled wit the Viewpoint license.
