Frames in Filmpack 8 versus Filmpack 7

I wonder if somebody on here running Filmpack 8 could do me a favour please? I have film pack 7 and I did a trial for Filmpack 8 but that has expired. I recently started using frames - particularly the plain White frame. I wanted to know if the white frame can be made smaller as I prefer a thin white frame. The standard white frame at its minimal thickness is still a little thick for my liking - I was just wondering if they had made it smaller in Filmpack 8 - I do know that I could select white in black for a thinner line but would prefer not to do that. A long shot I know but any help would be appreciated.

If you just want a plain white frame around your image, you could use something like Affinity (which is now free) to generate the frame you want by expanding the canvas around your PL-exported image and flood-filling it white?

I just checked and there is no change between these 2 versions.
I made this observation a few years ago…
In the meantime, I use XnViewMP where I made a preset and it’s very fast and we can do batch processing.
It’s a shame to have to use another software just for that.

Thanks for your help guys

Do you know if DXO have a suggestions portal so that I can raise it again?

As far as I know, there is no difference in available frames or functionality from FP7 to FP8.

Personally, I prefer a very thin black frame but have to go to Affinity or use the Frame Old film or whatever it’s named to get close.
