DxO Software - New Cameras & Lenses support (10 December 2024 update)

Hi Marie,

PhotoLab is not showing support for the Panasonic Lumix S 18-40mm lens yet but it was supposed to be available in September. Is there any update on this?

Hello,

sorry for the silent period. It’s very busy at DxO Labs.

Let’s answer question by question.

@scannon, I don’t have a date for support of Sigma 500mm f5.6 Sport (Sony version) even if it’s flagged with high priority in the roadmap.

@bingobongo, support for the Nikkor Z 50mm F1.4 lens will be in January.
We plan to support the Chinese manufacturer Meike and Siuri , even if I don’t have a date yet, first lenses will be supported in 2025. Priorities will be set with customers request.

@noob2this, the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm F1.0 Aspherical for the Nikon Z mount will be supported in January.

@MinarKotonoha, GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is in the roadmap but I don’t have a date yet.

@wolphgang, I don’t have date for Sigma 50mm F1.2 for Sony, like 500mm it also depends on Sigma.

@Madaboutpix, HD Pentax-DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 Fish-Eye ED will be done in 2025.

@peterw, Panasonic Lumix S 18-40mm F4.5-6.3 will be supported in January.

Regards,
Marie

You and the whole team are doing awesome work, @Marie.

Thanks indeed for taking the time to answer in such detail. Looking forward to the fisheye module sometime in 2025. It won’t be lost on Pentaxians.

Thanks Marie!

Hello Marie
Is Viltrox AF 16 mm f/1.8 FE for Sony cameras in your supporting plan? I plan to use it with Sony A7 IV, but this lens doesn’t exist on DXO list.

@Marie any timeline for adding Viltrox 28mm f1.8 for Sony FE ?

@wuka , Viltox AF 16mm F1.8 FE will be supported in the first quarter of 2025.

@Hawkmoon , Viltrox 28mm F1.8 FE will be supported in December.

So the R1 support has now slipped to February?? This is incredibly disappointing news.

feels same. Just checked out “suggest camera” yesterday and they promised R1 to be supported this december. Thinking that 1-2 weeks shooting JPG would be okay as there are no important event coming soon, i bought this camera today. And when I came home, I saw that mediocre X-M5 got a support despite of beeing released even a bit later than FLAGSHIP R1 while R1 itself got delayed for 2(!!!) month? Really? I would not trade my R5 for R1 if i knew this info yesterday. And what should I do now? Return camera to the shop or shoot only jpg for several month? Or should i just find another software and try to transfer all my presets, but what’s the point of dxo for me after all?..

To be able to add support for this camera DxO requires the availability of a loaner copy of that body. Perhaps getting a loaner directly from Canon or from some other source was more difficult than originally anticipated which could account for the slip in the schedule.

Shoot RAW + JPG, not only JPG.
