I’m confused. When I posted this, I liked my sky. Now I think it no longer looks right, because of too much vignetting. Joanna your sky looks too dark to me, which Mark pointed out. The “arrowhead” does get lost in your version, but in my version it is “over-done”. At the same time, while the bottom of the roof doesn’t really show up well, in your version it shows up almost too well. I enjoy showing all the surface texture the way you did, but I’m not sure if that should be attracting people’s eyes.
I wanted the building at the right to blend into the background, but I like the way you did it much more, looking now like an “extension” of the main building. No comparison, yours is better, significantly. I think the red filter (or maybe orange?) is a great idea. My sky is too light, and yours may be too dark.
What I like most about your version, is that the light colored building at the right looked so annoying to me, but the small changes you made integrated it into the overall image - it’s a better photo your way.
Maybe it’s my imagination - I haven’t downloaded your .dop yet - but the. signage at the bottom that I found annoying is less annoying in your version.
There is a post at the bottom left - I cut it out, but that didn’t look right, so I put it back in. I see you also removed it. I now see that I was wrong to include it. I thought of it as a “bookend”, but now I think it was more so a “distraction”.
I like the “arrowhead shaped roof line”. With the sky somewhere between what I did, and what you did, I think I agree with Mark - that helps the image.
