Hi Christian,
I want to use my Wacom tablet (Intuos Pro M) to paint / manipulate masks and also for dodge & burn,
just like in PS. Other than that, I prefer a fullsize keyboard (short cuts) and mouse.
The pen in the right hand, I can operate with my left several Custom Keys or the Touchring
with (up to 4) different settings, which (in old PS) I use for
- to Zoom in / out of the Pic
- to increase / decrease Brush Size
- to change Brush Feathering
while I use ‘constant’ values for Flow and Opacity, depending on the task.
Local Adjustments – keystrokes and mouse controls [Windows]
from the Menue List
Brush – service-panel (for Mouse and ‘basic’ Pen operations)
Now, with the tablet’s Touchring I can comfortably and effortless Zoom in / out of the picture
[ < Strg > < Num - / + > ] (undocumented)
BUT, as keystrokes (without scrolling !) are missing,
I cannot use the Touchring comfortably
- to increase / decrease Brush Size
- to change Brush Feathering
These could be any (international) keys, which I then register as Touchring settings.
Wacom tablet with Custom Keys / Touchring in the middle
(ALT-key to switch instantly to Eraser)
Pen – custom settings
(Mouse right click to change tool)
have fun, Wolfgang
