Workflow for manual focus lenses profiled by Adobe but not DxO Pure Raw?

(Sorry if this has been asked before: please refer me to any previous discussions.)

I use some vintage manual focus lenses for which Adobe has a profile, but DxO does not.

Is this the correct workflow for Adobe Camera Raw ?

  1. Open raw file in Adobe Camera Raw and apply lens profile. Save raw file.
  2. Open raw file in DxO Pure Raw and convert to DNG.
  3. Open DNG in Adobe Camera Raw and save as Photoshop file.

…or is this the correct workflow ?

  1. Open raw file in DxO Pure Raw and convert to DNG.
  2. Open DNG file in Adobe Camera Raw and apply lens profile. Save as Photoshop file.

It seems that either workflow will apply both the DxO noise reduction and the Adobe lens profile, but the second approach is faster… is that correct please, or am I overlooking something ?

raw -----> DxO PL* / PureRaw ----> linear DNG -----> ACR/LR ( applies lens profile to linear DNG from DxO ) → tiff or whatever else you want

That works !
