I’ve noticed the problem also on Windows. See Sharpness optimisation not working on the Nikon D700 + 24-70 f/2.8 - #2 by Wlodek and a report there on similar issue with PR. Rarely you can come across strange things in PL, like no support for Nikon 16/2.8D Fisheye on D780, which is supported on similar body D750.
