Why are DNG files light after either DeepPrime3 or XD3 processing

I running a trial version of PureRAW6 as a plugin for Lightroom Classic and processing with either DeepPrime3 or XD3 the resulting DNG file appears to be at least 1 stop over exposed after exporting back to LrC. Is this what is supposed to happen? If it is, it’s quite disappointing.

I ran the process exporting the output as a 16 bit TIFF lowering the Smart Lighting to 10 in order for the file to be properly exposed in LrC. Other than that, PureRaw6 seems pretty good.

This gets asked weekly in the forum, and the answer is the following (applies to PureRAW 6 as well as the current PhotoLab 9):

Why does DxO PhotoLab now export DNG files with only technical corrections? – Help center

Thanks. This is good information.
