Where can I download the last version of Optics Pro to support Fujifilm S5 Pro camera RAW?

You have replied to a 3 year old post, which is not relevant to @iprich’s post.

I would ask @iprich, if the installer is not on the CD, exactly which files are?

The CD contains 4 links of various languages, English, German, French and Japanese, which direct the browser to DXO’s software registration website. As you have rightly pointed out, Opticspro11 is almost 10 years old and no longer showing up, therefore I cannot register and download the installation files.

In which case, you need to ask for your money back, as they were advertising a non-existent product.

@Joanna is correct, you need to get your money back. I’m not familiar with how eBay handles mis-selling like this but it ought to have some sort of mechanism that will help you.

Perhaps start with their money back guarantee?

Hopefully you used PayPal for the purchase which will make a refund easier through eBay if the seller refuses to return your money. As an aside would you be willing to share how much the seller charged you for the software?

There are a number of them selling old prigrams e.g NEW DxO Labs OpticsPro 11 Essential Edition Photo Enhancing Software DVD PC/Mac | eBay UK

I only paid US$13.99 plus about $20 delivery. Not a lot in these days. It could have been a bargain if the installation files are on the CD. I checked CNET if they have DxO_OpticsPro11_Setup.exe for download; but only found version 10. I hope that someone may share his DxO_OpticsPro11_Setup.exe (I also sent message to seller if they have it). I will use my own activation keys.

Even if you get a copy of the Setup file and use you own license it is very possible the installation will still fail. DxO may no longer be able to validate your original license.

This is very simple. You paid for a CD containing working software. You received no software just dead links. That is a “not as described” claim and you should open a case with eBay. They will refund you.

I expect every one sold has the same licence number and likly not work anyway

Hopefully you will learn from this.

Maybe it was sold as a collector’s item, not actually meant to work?

Not likely. There are a number of different offers for Optics Pro 11 on eBay. I believe many of them are advertised as sealed copies. It is more likely that at least some of those sellers may not know that the software they are selling can’t be installed.

Nonfunctioning, broken and incomplete items can be sold on eBay but they MUST be clearly described as such in the “Condition” and “Description” headings. i.e., “Packaging only - no functional software included” or “Camera does not work. Sold for display only”.
