When Adding or darkening an image with the Brush Tool, the edit is seen being applied on the image but when releasing the cursor, the edit returns to normal with no edit being applied

When I convert an image to Silver EfxPro and using the Brush tool to add/subtract tones, you can see the tones being applied but when I release the cursor all applications return to normal and disappear.

Within SEP (and the other tools) there is no brush tool available, but when using the Nik tools from PhotoShop.
