VP 5 for de-fishing

I activate VP within PL Elite Complete, currently PL 7, soon to be PL 8. I sometimes use a diagonal fisheye when I need a very wide angle image. I also have a circular fisheye, but this question is not about converting circular to rectilinear images. Does VP 5 have an “automatic” de-fish function? For perspective changes from a rectilinear non-TS lens, VP 4 works well and I suspect VP 5 is better. What about with a diagonal fisheye, not just de-fish, but also perspective? With a bit of work in post, I often can convert a fisheye image into a (lower resolution, but client acceptable) pano image, much easier than using a pano head and stitching. Any information would be appreciated.

Can you not download the free trials of PL8 and VP5 and experiment yourself?
