Viltrox 2.8 9mm

First of all, hi all, new here. I did not find a subforum regarding lens requests, I hope this is the right place. I also did a search in this board prior to posting, but found nothing regarding this particular one.

I was surprised when I opened my images and found out my viltrox 2.8 9mm isn’t supported !

I thought viltrox was a popular, well known brand.

When (and if) will it be available?

In which case, select something that is on the list and add a comment that you only picked the lens you have selected because the one you want to suggest is not listed.

Ensure you give the complete name for the lens, which I’m guessing is the ’ Viltrox AF 9mm f/2.8 Air’

DxO is starting to catch up with support for Viltrox lenses but they have a ways to go. I have the full frame cousin of your lens, the Viltrox 14mm f/4 which is also not currently supported.

It seems like DxO is stuck in the past; Viltrox lenses have been on the market for quite a while—more than enough time for them to have been analyzed. Other editing programs already have profiles for these lenses. But DxO is just sitting there, asleep at the wheel or something. They’re losing market share.

I agree that DxO is behind on supporting a number of Viltrox lenses. That includes the four I own. including the 28mm f/2.8 chip full frame, the 14mm f/4 full frame, the 9mm, f/2.8 APS-C, and the new 26mm f/2.8 full frame, all for the Z mount.

According to the DxO Camera/Lens database there are approximately 20 different Viltrox lenses currently being supported. I have also requested support for all my lenses in the database. If you have not, I suggest you request support there.

Yes, I’ve already submitted a suggestion regarding the lenses I own. I’m waiting for a response from the DxO team.

I would not expect a direct response from DxO for submitting a lens or camera request. While they have surprised me a few times recently with some improvements to their communications, directly acknowledging the receipt and status of lenses requests has historically not been one of them.
