I have VP3 (VP4 had nothing new I needed) so wanted to try VP5.
I downloaded the latest update to PL8 and activated the VP Trial.
I had to figure out how everything works which was rather confusing. I decided to remove the trial for now as it was rather slow and cumbersome but I could not. I thought that re-activating VP3 would do the trick but it did not.
I removed the VP3 license file and tried again but no change.
Uninstalling PL and reinstalling dis not fix this issue, so now I cannot even use VP3!
I think DxO’s policy is to offer a reduced upgrade price only for a one version step. But I am not sure; I always upgrade when the new software comes out.
Turning to your problem, can you launch VP3 through the Windows key? Or do you mean that VP3 is no longer available as a menu choice in DxO’s “Export to application” launcher?
Cheers
Hmm! The Reshape Fusion button doesn’t work from PL8 with the trial version of VP5 I have installed atm. I never noticed this button before, if it was there, to tell the truth, because I preferred to jump into VP4 rather than use the PL’s in-app perspective tools.
OTOH launching VP4 from the File, Export to application menu … does still work. I would think VP3 can start this way.
[Edit]You might need to use the “Browse” button to navigate your way to the VP3 executable if you haven’t used VP3 from this route before.[/Edit]
