Unable to export since patch 9.10.0.736

Ever since the most recent update I’m having multiple issues with the export-process.
This issue did not exist in the previous version!

I’m running on (up to date) Windows 11, 32GB RAM, AMD 5700X3D.

I’ve updated my grafics-drivers (AMD 9070 XT, Adrenalin version 26.6.4)
changed to “compability” performance,
did multiple restarts,
and tried different types of photos.

When trying to export a photo (or multiple) I typically can export 1 or maybe a couple of photos. after that, the software just “bricks” in one (or multiple) of the following ways:

Either it just doesn’t progress the export anymore,
or fails with “Internal error (Correction failed on the Execute stage)”
or fails with “Could not load image”
or fails with “Estimation target finished in error, estimation target name: LightningV3Execute@node_6[0].EstimationTarget(0)”

Restarting the software sometimes gets me a few additional exports, but only a full system reboot “restarts” the availability of exports (as in 1-10 more).

This is not okay!
I need to be able to export more than 10 images per session.

Any ideas what I can do to try and fix it on my side?
Or am I fully dependent on DxO fixing that?

If you still have the installer for v9.9, roll back to that.

No problem there either, but I’m not familiar with the details regarding AMD.

@charliechappy the errors you report sound similar to those many users were getting in the early days of PL9. Back then they seemed to stem from a mix of bugs in PL9 and bugs in the GPU drivers, particularly Nvidia drivers.

Since you say all was well until you updated to v9.10 and you also updated your AMD GPU drivers can you roll back the GPU update?

  • If you still get errors, that points to PL9.10 being the problem
  • If the errors go away, that points to the GPU update being the problem

May try to set paralell export to 1. Don’t use deeprimerendering. Try ai acceleration to compatibility and vice versa. What about if no mask at all in the photos?
