Uath Lochans

To me, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Uath Lochans is situated in the north of the Cairngorms in Scotland.

I’ve never posted a picture on-line before and so this is an experiment for me.

Please feel free to comment/adjust as you wish.

I’ve only uploaded a jpg. I was under the impression that the normal way of posting here was to upload the raw and a dop - but the site software would not allow me to do that - I will have to do a bit of research.

Best wishes
Malcolm

You only need to upload RAW and DOP if you want others to play with the original. And you would need to state the version of PL used to create the DOP.

If your RAW file is too large, you are best using a file sharing site and posting a link to the download here.

Otherwise, if you only want to share the image, the JPEG is fine.

Thank you Joanna

Does this work?

But the forum software will not permit me to copy a DOP or RAW, regardless of size.

2F7A2388.CR3.dop

2F7A2388.CR3

If you search the forum you’ll find topics about the inability to upload .CR3 files. However for reasons no one can understand, DxO have ignored all requests to allow their upload.

Until @DxO_Support-Team bother to address this problem if you ZIP a .CR3 file you should be able to upload the .zip version.

Thank you - I understand now.

BTW - I used PL 7

OK. there’s nothing much wrong with your rendering, but I added a virtual copy and tweaked a couple of settings to show you some ideas…

And here’s the DOP with my version as the VC…

2F7A2388.CR3.dop (28,8 Ko)

Best thing to do is to copy your CR3 file to another directory and then add my DOP there. That way, things shouldn’t blow up.
