Too Much Spam is Getting Posted Here!

Spammers have been flooding the forum lately, especially on weekends. It appears that DxO admins remove it on Mondays after the weekend, but it’s very annoying while it’s here.

Had the forum been this way prior to the release of PL8, I would not have made the purchase. This forum would have been a critical red flag, and it would have been impossible to learn anything from real users. If you see this, and notice that they are too lazy to maintain their marketing tools, you can’t possibly anticipate good customer service. I have no doubt they have lost potential customers due to poor maintenance of this forum, and it sure raises concerns about their electronic hygiene in general. Are they taking good care of our personal and financial information, for instance? I have not had problems with the software, and I have not had to use customer support as of yet, but image is everything if you are trying to increase the user base. Maybe they are not.

Sad to hear about this kind of experience.
Personally, I have not faced spam in this forum but such nehavior is most common today on the net generally.
I have used this forum more than any other forums. Numerous times it has been the only needed aid to get assistance and support for using DxO products. I rarely have used a ticket to get help.
I agree that the forum must be kept free from spam. 24/7 moderating may, anyhow, not be the first thing that we users want to pay for. We could, perhaps, make own choises when reading and ingnore non-wanted writing until DxO moderators take care of it on better time.
I find possible spam in the forum the least argument not to use DxO for photo editing.

I hope the company’s servers are better protected than this one.

DxO needs to patch the forum to a more recent version as well.

I hope they can fix it in the near future, else the forum is without function anymore.
