Tone Curve without Selection Point

I notice that the tone curve doesn’t have an option to make selection points on the image. How is it possible that this doesn’t exist in DXO Photolab 5 when every other elite photo editor has this very basic tool? This seems like an essential tool to make precise tonal and color adjustments.

Also, a tone curve that doesn’t have the RGB values along the vertical and hortizontal axis? What’s up with that?
