Tone Curve in local adjustments

There are a few features that are missing and the lack of them is quite distress to me. One of this is a Tone Curve tool in local adjustments. Could you add it, pleaseeeeeee?!

I used to regularly use tone curves on layer masks in Photoshop. Oh how I miss those days.

Although, a thought just struck me - has anyone tried using ordinary contrast on a luminosity mask, to only increase contrast for a particular tone range?

No, but try …

e.g. for better shadow separation.

Still, it would be really good to be able to use the tone curve locally.
