Testing new tools

Had the opportunity to go off roading in the welsh hills with some friends and brought everything and the kitchen sink.

Finally whittled down from about 3000 photos to ~180 or so, and I keep coming back to them and tweaking things. Got the original Nik Collection working with PL, so had a bit of a play with that too. Excuse the dodgy cloning on the number plate.

The ‘before’ for good measure

I like the contrast and lighting of the subject vehicle in the first pic. Really nice treatment IMO. I find the number plate to be a distraction, though. My opinion is that the best practice is to simply make the whole thing white or replace the characters with something indistinct and uniform like a gray rectangle.
