Swap panels in PhotoLab?

Just wondering… is it possible to swap the side panels in the Customize module?

I’d like the tools on the left and the info panels to the right.

I don’t know of a way to flip them all at once. But you can customize the palettes including which side they dock and in what order, or even float them. There is a tutorial “Customize your interface” you can find at under Help > DxO Learning Hub. It’s on the bottom left of that page.

I tried to include the link but it ended up linking to the French version, lol. So use the Help menu option and scroll down.

I find photolab a little bit weak when it’s about organising workspace, but eventually you get used to it. I use to use so customisable softwares, that maybe I’m expecting too much from an advanced demosaicer.

If you do not use tabs (unselect all tab icons on the right side and you’ll see what I’m talking about), you can drag and drop group of tools left/right, right/left, or undock some tools or change order in list, but it’s so impractical and ill-thought-out that I won’t venture to explain how it works.

If you find a solution that suit your needs, you can save a custom workspace.

Panels can be swapped, but there is a catch. See screens below.

@PopsInABox , I propose you add panel swapping as a feature request here:

FRs can be voted for by clicking the “Vote” button as shown in the example below.

Caveat: Feature Requests can take long to be implemented. Don’t hold your breath!
