Had image open in customize went to use repair tool.
Image went to split screen compare and repair function was still activated and useable on both.
Turned computer off was repeated. Very odd

So yes, the repair / clone tool stays open, but only useable on 1 side.
Ah so it wasn’t random I couldn’t get it on single pane view must have inadvertently push a key
