Sort by keyword: DXO can't display all my images

Hello,
I did a search by keyword.
But DXO tells me that too many images match this sort, and it only shows me the first 1000 images found … :frowning:
How do I go beyond this limit?

How do I search by keyword in a specific folder?
I have the impression that DXO searches in all my folders …

Hi,

You can also add the name of the folder as filter.

@Franky : Thanks a lot ! Great idea !
I must take time to play with search tool to improve my work !

How do you do that…?

You can combine search terms in your queries.
So for example, here is me having selected “Project” as a keyword, and then I type the name of the folder I want to narrow it down to - “10-Oct” - and can select that.

Once you do that, it will find all images that have a keyword “Project” AND are also inside the folder “10-Oct.”

But the main point here, is, when performing searches, PhotoLab can only show at maximum 1000 results. The best way around this is to narrow your search further – doesn’t have to be narrowed by folder, you can also narrow by lens, ISO, other keywords, etc. (basically, any metadata).

Thanks for that.
I am not a keyword power user.
I am simply doing a search for one keyword. So if I have more than 1000 images with that one keyword, DXO chokes.
That is pathetic as numerous other apps have no problem with the same type of search.

Yep, fully agree with that sentiment.
