Solved - cannot export from Mac

I posted this and then deleted it because I solved it enough for my purposes. But I am reposting because others might be affected by this behaviour.

I wrote: “A few days ago when I last used DO PhotoLab 8 I could export images. Now the whole side panel from ‘Export’ is greyed out. I am up to date with the software and I am on a Mac under macOS Sequoia 15.5.”
Now I see that ‘View / Dock Image Browser (Cmd U)’ hides the dock to make more space to process the image by hidingthe thumbnails of the other images also hides the blue button to ‘Export’.
But unhiding the dock does not solve the fact that under ‘Image / Export’ these items are greyed out. And why is the Blue Button hidden when thumbnails are hidden?

Bit of an issue this

Same Problem. I’m sitting on an edit and the option to Export is disabled/greyed out. I can select other ways of accessing the Export function, but when I do manage to try to export it the results dialogue just says “0 files exported”. Go figure. Hopefully one of the devs will chime in with a solution…

Or at least a workaround…

Not sure if this helps you out or not, but I just discovered that there was a red dot next to the image in the preview scrolling pane on the bottom of the screen. Unchecked the red dot and suddenly had the option to export…

Yes. If a photo has been marked as “rejected”, it’s been excluded/blocked from being exported.

That could be the reason for others as well.

Probably hit some key that activated it without knowing about it…
