the maximum amount of blur in the vignetting is not as smooth as I would like, in other applications the blur radius of the vignetting is much bigger. (I’m not talking about the radius of the circle of the vignetting but the radius of the blur applied to the vignetting circle)

Why don’t you use a big control point?
You place one, invert it and now you just have to lower the exposure, maybe a bit of tone curve and voilà ! Easy peasy.

That’s actually a good workaround! I never thougut about it!
However if you want the same vignetting in multiple photos but you don’t want to copy the other local adjustments it will be more time consuming. But until then I defenirelly going to use your solution! Thanks!
In this case, a partial preset may work? I don’t know, I’m not a preset ‘expert’…
