Select Lens Profile for Adapted Lenses Sony E to Nikon Z

Hi all! I’m enjoying using PhotoLab and slowly coming over from Lightroom but one thing is really bugging me and that is no ability to manually select (or override) which which lens was used on a camera body.

I use a Megadap ETZ adapter to use a few Sony E mount lenses on my Nikon Z bodies - mainly the 14mm f1.8 and 20mm f1.8 and while the lens data is correctly transferred, PhotoLab unfortunately does not allow me to select the correct lens. Same applies to a couple of Nikon F lenses I use on Fuji bodies. Adapting lenses is very popular these days.

In Lightroom all I need to do is select the correct lens profile from the optical corrections module so it would be nice to have this in PhotoLab as well.

Option to manually select a lensprofile

Hi. I would like to have an option to select a lensprofile manually; I have the fully manual Samyang (Rokinon) 14 f2.8 for Canon. A few years after I bought this one Samyang updated it with electronics for Canon (still fully manual). To my knowledge the optics are the same. Unfortunately I’m not able to get DxO’s excellent corrections on my version since DxO can’t recognise it without electronics. Please add a selector switch/button in DxOPL so I can select it manually. Thanks, I’ll add my contribution there. Hopefully the dev team will actually pay attention if it’s this much of an issue for other people.

EDIT - I see that topic is from 2018 - that’s 8 years ago. We need some new pressure to get this fixed. So I’ll continue with my own new topic instead.
