Right click copy corrections not working

Hello. New here, just purchased DXO PL 8. Think I found a bug.

I edited an image and then I wanted to apply the same edits to another image. When I right click directly on the image and choose “Copy corrections” and then right click on the second picture, the “Paste corrections” menu is grayed out.

But if I select the image and then choose copy / paste from the top meny (rather than from the right click menu) it works as intended.

Is this a bug or user error? I’m using a Mac mini m1 with the latest osx, and the latest version of DXO PL…

Best regards

Hello and welcome.

Which version of PL8?
Locally stored image or over network?
What kind of format is the master you are copying the corrections from and to what?

Thank you
It must be the latest version, I downloaded and installed it yesterday. I bought the DXO Photolab 8 Elite. The files are located on a 7,2 inch sata USB harddrive enclosure connected to my Mac mini m1 running the latest OSX. The format of both files are DNG files (originally ARW files, shot on my Sony A7r IVa).

The corrections included mostly color and sharpness corrections and some noice corrections.

But as I said, I can copy and paste the corrections successfully if I choose from the top window menu rather than from the mouse right click menu if you understand what I mean. Hope this helps

What os?
I’ve no problems with it. It gives me a list with 4 choice I can make. Win10.

I’m using Sonoma 14.4.1 and DXO Photolab 8 Elite 8.1.0 Build 35. I thought I’d record a screen recording of the error. The error was present at first, but I messed up the recording and at the second try, the error didnt happen, so now the right click menu can copy and paste corrections. Sorry guys, I dont know why this is. But if I encounter it again, I’m going to try to catch it on a screen recording for you to see.

Hello again, I was able to reproduce the error and catch it on a screen cast.
Please see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXBXHbJSbXE

I think it has something to do with window size? But you be the judge

No problem here (well … different OS + raw file format + screen resolution).

May I suggest to ask DxO support and refer to this thread.

Wonderful! That confirms what I found but, I never tested resizing to cure it because the next time I tried to reproduce the problem, it wasn’t there. Please report this, stressing it is intermittent and not easily reproducible.

Ok, thanks! I submitted a support ticket and referred them to this thread and my Youtube clip.

PL 8.1 on a Macbook Pro 2019 - exactly the same issue. Paste only works from the top menu.
