In retouch mode, what should be the difference between repair and clone, as I can see no difference. Clone behaves just like repair, and repair actually is cloning.

Repair (for me) does a better job of blending in the change you’re making to the area you’re trying to fix.
Clone, on the other hand, does exactly what it says on the tin (for better or worse).
When you have some retouching e.g. close to the border, then use the clone tool first.

The differences are usually very noticeable most of the time. You most likely have not used it enough in a variety of scenarios to see those differences.
