Important notice – DxO PureRAW 6.8 may crash at launch on macOS Golden Gate 27.2 with an external display: fix in progress
Hi everyone,
Since updating to macOS Golden Gate 27.2, some users have found that DxO PureRAW 6.8 crashes at launch. Our team has identified the cause.
Who is affected
The crash only happens when the Mac uses an external display and its built-in display is not in use, for example a MacBook used with the lid closed. This is why only some users are affected.
- Windows users are not affected.
Next steps
We are preparing a test version to validate the fix with affected users. We will update this thread as soon as the fix is confirmed and the update is available.

Update – DxO PureRAW 6.8.1 released: fix for the startup crash on macOS 27.2
Good news: DxO PureRAW 6.8.1 is now available, with a fix for the startup crash affecting some users running macOS 27.2 with an external display connected and the built-in display disabled.
If you experienced this issue, please update to version 6.8.1. This update addresses the display configuration described in our original post, including MacBooks used with the lid closed.
