Requesting the addition of digital filters built into Sony cameras

I already have Fujifilm camera body filters, but the latest version has been disabled and is only allowed for Fujifilm cameras. I request that Sony filters be added. The number of digital simulation filters is too small, and the most important aspect of post-editing is the creative functions.

I find it strange that there is so little documentation from DxO about the feature you’re referring to. As far as I can tell, neither the user guides nor the product marketing overviews describe it. This wasn’t always the case. To clarify, the inclusion of Digital Film recipes/simulations/emulations is actually a FilmPack feature that is integrated into PhotoLab if you have a FilmPack license. Presently, only Fujifilm digital film simulations (if your image file comes from a compatible Fuji digital camera) and Nikon recipes (aka filters) are included in this category. Fuji controls their intellectual property such that they required DxO to hide these as you described. Some other manufacturers take the same approach or are even more restrictive. But yes, DxO has focused largely on analog film with FilmPack and is only more recently including digital emulations - and doesn’t seem all that interested in promoting this aspect of the software.

I’ve recategorized this topic as a FilmPack feature request.
