I’m running a MacBook M3 Pro with 16 gb ram and Sonoma 14.1. I was not going to post this for the group but decided to after all. I know the issue with Nik crashing when being used as a plugin with PS is nothing new. All one has to do is google it and it brings up numerous cases. The research I’ve done tends to reflect most of the crashes occur during the apply process. That is not the case for me. My crashes all occur after adding a number of filters. I documented the last time it happened: I had added pro contrast, clear view, sunlight, hsl, classical soft focus and then darken lighten center. It crashed tweaking the sliders in darken lighten center. If I did not apply on a regular basis I would be losing a fair amount of effort. Sorry to be so long winded on this, obviously it is quite frustrating for many. The most common suggested fix online seems to be changing the one setting to “apply to active layer”. That did not make a difference in my case. I am tempted to upgrade to Sequoia since 15.0.1 is now available and wondered if anyone has had any luck with that or may be able to suggest another work around. Thanks for listening.
