Bonjour,
j’utilise Lightroom classic avec un espace couleur profoto. Cet espace couleur est-il respecté à l’export vers Nik 7 et au retour en LRc?
Merci de m’éclairer
Bonjour, Thierry … Welcome to the User forum …
Without being absolutely sure, I’m guessing it’s Adobe RGB.

While I’m still on the old LR 5.7 …
-
sent a raw-file from LR to Nik 7 ColorEfex
in Colorspace ProPhoto RGB *)
-
could also have been exported from LR as TIFF
in ProPhoto RGB (or other ‘registered’ colorspaces) **)
*)
checked with ExifTool and PS
**)
BTW, the same thing when exporting from PL(7) to Nik
Being able to do that doesn’t mean the Nik Collection apps have a working color space larger than Adobe RGB. DxO has only ever specified that Adobe RGB is the working color space. They haven’t revised that over the years. If it’s improved, I would expect DxO to want people to know that.
Sure – anything else would be misleading if you can export from PL (7) like shown.
It’s just that I wasn’t on LR… and that’s why I checked it with my old version.

to add
-
checked with “riwodot colortest II”
from https://www.riwodot.de/colormanagement_en.html,
which was made in ProPoto RGB colorspace
-
exported from PL8.1 to Nik7 ColorEfex as *.tif with DxO WideGamut,
but didn’t apply the Nik effect
→ the remaining _Nik.tif in PL8 showed that it was processed by PL8.1 and
-
exported from PL8.1 to Nik7 ColorEfex as *.tif with DxO WideGamut
and applied a frame in Nik
→ the returned _Nik-1.tif in PL8 showed that it was processed by ColorEfex and
my conclusion
Nik leaves the embedded color space unchanged
Thanks, Wolfgang … That’s an important conclusion to understand.
