PureRaw in Lightroom & Custom Collections

There’s another topic about this that was closed but the “solution” stated there is not an option. How do you get PureRaw to stop creating all the Collection nonsense in Lightroom and just drop the processed file back in the original/source collection?

I love DXO but this is huge time sink to toggle back and forth

Short Answer: Not at all
Long Answer: Create a Collection, direct everything there and delete the content every now and then. See screen capture below. (I called the collection “IGNORE” for visibility)

Set export options as shown below.

These Destination/Collection settings create most of what you want. All you have to do is to occasionally delete the contents of the IGNORE collection.

Faux !
choix…

The “IGNORE” collection/option does not exist. Neither in PureRAW nor in Lightroom.
I created the collection in Lightroom and gave it its name to make things visible.

You can call that collection whatever you like…but you’ll have to create it in the first place…and clean it out occasionally.

Nevertheless, DxO made a smart move in writing to a collection. Imagine having treated images from different folders. You’d have to search the output instead of finding the whole lot in a collection.

I also dislike the Collection nonsense. A few updates ago, PureRaw gave users the option to “Add to the Current Collection.” Just choose that at the bottom right (see screenshot) and PureRaw will put its DNG into whatever Lightroom collection you’re working in.

I don’t have that option…

Yeah, every few weeks that option disappears for me, too. I know this sounds crazy, but if I close Lightroom and DxO PureRAW (not just DxO inside Lightroom but the actual app itself), then reboot, the option to save to the current collection comes back.

I hope it works for you.

No Joy :frowning: - tried twice

Bummer. I would create a support ticket. That is an aggravating and frustrating blow to the workflow.
