This is (almost) funny: PureRAW continues to be unable to download lens profiles (all versions 6.x including current 6.5.1). Workaround: Download profile in PhotoLab 10 and manually copy the profile between the ‘Modules” folders (PL10 → PR6).
– I have described that in another post on the forum. ViewPoint 5 also cannot download profiles, same workaround applies (PL10 → VP5 Modules folder copy).
Now - going in the other direction: PL 10 can download the lens profile for my Leica APO-VARIO-ELMARIT-SL 2.8-4/90-280 BUT it cannot apply it (no lens sharpness, no distortion correction “Based on DxO module”).
However, I can manually download the profile in PL 10 (not in PR6), then copy it to PR6, and then it works perfectly (in PR6, not in PL10).
What gives?
To preempt comments: Yes, I have uninstalled, manually cleaned, reinstalled both PR6 and PL10. Some other lens profiles work in PL10 (download and applying them), so this is one of the many cases of DxO quality issues that are reproducible but not for all users (I am on Mac, the problem occured with Mac OS 26 and now 27).
