Powderpuff Plant

Let’s not let @mikemyers have all the limelight in this forum.

I posted on another thread about my practice of going back to old photos and choosing ones to work on and publish that I did not choose closer to the time. I’ve written about that several times here, and in other places online, and the single photo that always comes to mind is this one.

It was the only frame I took on a visit to Jurong Bird Park in Singapore in 2019 that did not include a bird.

It reasonably often ends up as a desktop wallpaper on my Mac; one of about a dozen photos that I love dearly for simply making me feel good — about the image and about the memory of where it was taken.

It’s not perfect, nor was it particularly thought out at the time, but I love the delicate pink against the expanse of greens, and the hundreds of delicate filaments — which DxO modules help to pick out in detail.

I also like the way you snuck in a little “red color” at the left side of the image. It sort of “balances” all the pink at the right side.
