PL8 Won’t Install on Mac Mini M1

Just purchased PL8 to run on Mac Mini M1 running Sonoma 14.6.1. Downloaded, and dmg opens. When I drag the PL8 icon to the Apps folder icon, it “bounces back” to the left and installer does not run. I am logged in as Admin. Never experienced this installing software on this system before. I am stuck. Any thoughts appreciated.

Check your permissions on the Applications folder. And there is no installer, it’s just a simple copy operation

Have you had any joy installing PL 8 on your system?

I use a M1 Mac Mini, also with Sonoma 14.6.1, and PL8 installed without issue for me.

I just dragged the folder (following download) into the Applications folder as nomal for any other app.
