UPDATE
Poking around I found under the ‘Image’ menu the ‘Resolve DxO Modules Ambiguities’ and this allowed me to choose the 100 - 400 f/4-5.6 L IS USM II with EF 1.4x III and apply it to all the images in the folder. I am leaving this post in the hopes that it may help someone else with this or a similar issue.
I recently purchased the EF 1.4 III version of the Canon teleconverter, using it with R6 MKII and EF 100-400 f/4-5.6. I previously used the EF 1.4 II version. I open an image in PL8.7 and was NOT prompted to download a new module for 100-400 - 1.4 III version so I manually did so.
*I closed the program and reopened it and it still sees the 100-400 -1.4 III as the 1.4 II *
Knowing it wouldn’t help, but to cover the bases I rebooted the computer, reopened PL8, same issue. I thought about uninstalling the 100-400 1.4 II module, but I have a tom of pics taken with that combo and want to be able to re-edit some of those at some point.
Canon’s DPP4 recognizes the 100-400 1.4 III combination no problem.
I tried to search the forum prior to posting this, but the number of characters allowed in the search field is so small I was not able to form a query. Pretty useless if you need more than a few words in your query.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
