As most people know, you can make adjustments by dragging on the appropriate sections of the histogram that correspond to the Blacks, Shadows, Midtones, Highlights and Whites.
BUT did you know you can also do this in the PhotoLibrary tab?
ALSO if you move the cursor into the top third of the histogram you can adjust the Exposure?
Interesting, I didn’t know this. I’ve had a quick go and the only interactions with it I could find were eg toggling clipping. Do you need to do something to make the histogram ‘active’? Thanks
The downside to the histogram becoming an adjustment tool is that it has been included in the “reset” feature (in Settings) where things like the HSL channel will go back to the default when you move to another image.
So now instead of having the luminance histogram all of the time, it keeps switching back to RGB.
Yes, I could turn off that setting, but I really like it for the HSL tool!
