PL Applying profiles in RAW

Just a reminder that I am not a Fuji shooter. However, I just retested again, this time using just 15 or so GFX 100, GFX 100S and GFX 100 II RAF files. When I unchecked the option in Preferences to "Automatically use camera rendering if supported”, and restarted PhotoLab, the rendering defaulted to the camera profiles instead of the Fuji film simulations for all three bodies. I don’t know what else to tell you. You need to uncheck that option in Preferences and delete the .dop files and the database.

Perhaps the issue is a software corruption. If you are on Windows try reinstalling PhotoLab over the current installation and select the repair option (see below) to fix any possible corruptions .

To make sure the explanation is correct, I had tested it with a Fuji raw file
and now also repeated it with two others.

You can see that it’s important to uncheck the option.

Since you apparently previously saved your preset with a checkmark,
you’ll need to correct it and save it again.

I’m not sure if you also selected “Camera Body” (and saved it in your preset),

which, as already explained, can be useful to simulate a different camera.

.
I haven’t tested this, but use → DxO Standard as the default,

then using → Generic rendering (see above).

Thank you appreciate the detail, however after following your instructions to the letter, and yes unchecked, restatrred still defaults to Provina- Standard. Support requested my RAW files to see if they can replicate . Now whats crazy after checking GFX files on my NAS from 2+ years ago, they default to camera body just fine. Lastly, PL has been running very slow, and freezing on an M2 Max. After I complete my current project, I’m going to do a complete uninstall and a clean reinstall.
