Been running with 9.5 for a bit now and it is an improvement on my M4 iMac. Sliders are still a bit laggy but no worse than version 8 in the main. Ai masking is still hit and miss and obvious skies are not being found or only found in part. The old masking tools are good enough in the main though and some of the Ai is ok. I love the edge aware brush.
Was seriously thinking of reverting to Lr but this version is good enough for me to continue my “buy Europe” approach to shopping (where I can).

Yes, the Auto brush is improved.
If you want to correct/delete something, try out the “feathering” function, when you need soft edge.
Yes indeed, although personally I think edge aware is a better description. Either way it is a very worthy tool. Wish it could be used to take away areas of a mask though. When I tried that it just reverted to the basic brush.
Agreed - edge aware removal as well as addition would be so handy. Especially if it could be applied to other brushes e.g. removing something an over-eager AI mask created.
