For those images that already have GPS co-ordinates associated with them, the See on map icon will show the location with one click using Google Maps. What about the other way? If I know where one or more images were made, is there a one click method to put the GPS co-ordinates into those images with-in PL8?
Lots of people don’t like using Google so probably would be annoyed if PL had a built in link to Google Maps.
If such a feature first required the user to select a mapping app of their choice though that might be a better idea.
Whether some people like Google Maps or not, PL does have a link to it. When the See on Map icon is pressed, if the image has Geo co-ordinates, Google Maps open showing where that image is located.
My question was if the reverse could be done with a single click - given a known Google Map location, tag the image in PL with those co-ordinates?
