I’m pretty sure earlier versions of PL could open TIFFs as I have a number of .DOP files associated with TIFF files with recent-enough dates that they were created with v8. I’m on a new PC, so a new installation, and when I use ‘PhotoLibrary’ to select the folder the TIFFs are in I don’t see any image files.
I’m pretty sure I missed some kind of configuration. I don’t have PL on my old PC anymore so I can’t dig through that to find that setting. Not a big deal, I exported to JPEG using Affinity Photo 2, just wondering what I did differently.
