I have PL8 on my laptop and I was thinking about trying out PL9 before I decide should I upgrade or not (mostly to test system performance but also to find out do I actually need it).
I’ve logged in to my DxO account, there was a free trial for PL9, I’ve used the same email as for my account and got the installation without any problems. I also received an email with a product activation key. Now when I start PL9 I have a window to enter activation key unfortunately the information is that Free trial is not available for this version (I have 9.1 automatically installed). I attach the screenshot. Any idea why is this? Can’t I test a new version if I already have the old one?
Okay, after something like 2 hours it is available now. Strange thing, but I have PL 9.1 30 days trial active now.

I had exactly the same problem (on Windows). Turns out the cause was the system clock being out of sync. Once I set the correct time on the system level (I was one hour off due to daylight saving time shift), PhotoLab allowed me to insert the trial activation code and all was good.
