PhotoLab 4 Support on Windows 11

This subject came up on the DxO PhotoLab Users Facebook page. Some one asked about it and someone else posted the link below which indicated that PL4 is not supported on Windows 11.

I no longer use PL4 but I was wondering whether lack of support means it can’t be installed or won’t work on Windows 11, or is it just that any problems that occur on Windows 11 will not be supported? Are there any earlier versions of PhotoLab or OpticsPro that will absolutely not work on Windows 11?

As more and more people start to use Windows 11, I see this as a potential issue for users of older versions of PhotoLab. I want to be able to give knowledgeable responses when questions about this are asked here and elsewhere.

Good morning, Mark,

It means that PL4 and earlier (I’ve got even PL2 and it works ok) versions can be installed on Win11 and they will work but your statement is correct:
